As the premier multispecialty venue for medical professionals looking to expand their aesthetic abilities, The Aesthetic Show (TAS) has firmly established itself as a progressive, first-in-class educational program covering the most cutting edge aesthetic procedures, techniques, products and technologies.
In keeping with the continually evolving and advancing landscape of our industry over the last 13 years, TAS has exceeded all expectations with a completely revamped curriculum for 2019, developed by some of the greatest minds in the industry.
The addition of the new Scientific Advisory Board, led by top experts and key opinion leaders, has been one of the most important changes to the 2019 program. By engaging accomplished professionals across all specialties practicing aesthetic medicine, TAS has constructed its most comprehensive and diverse learning experience to date.
Taking place from July 11 – 14, 2019, at the luxurious Wynn Las Vegas, this year’s program debuts a lineup of forward-thinking and interactive symposia, lectures, debates and workshops that will advance your practical experience in the art and science of aesthetics. Additionally, TAS has increased the number of CME credits available to attendees in 2019.
According to Gregory Chernoff, M.D., a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Santa Rosa, Calif., “This meeting has proved invaluable to expanding the armamentarium of treatments that I offer to my patients. The camaraderie of attendees has grown, and I have forged valuable relationships there.”
Most notably, the new program will give special emphasis to the emerging theme of Generational Aesthetics. Specifically, this year’s Keynote Address will be entirely focused on the multi-generational aspect of aesthetic medicine. Attendees will learn the specific needs, motivations and expectations of each demographic, and how to use this knowledge to grow their practices. This pervasive theme will be present throughout the entire program.
Other new sessions will cover topics such as sexual health, ethnic and gender considerations, bespoke treatments, integrative aesthetics, aesthetics in the digital age and the legal structure of an aesthetic practice, among others.
The show’s new scientific program represents an adaptation to current times, noted Anil Rajani, M.D., an aesthetic physician in Portland, Ore. “With its integrative focus, combination treatments, updates on the exciting new generational market traffic and interactive opportunities, the 2019 program is the best we have seen to date,” he said.
Of course, the program will also feature the main pillars of aesthetics, including facial injectables, energy-based and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments, innovations in body shaping, skincare advancements and regenerative aesthetics.
Other returning highlights include the popular hands-on / live demo injectable courses, which provide attendees with the opportunity to learn advanced neurotoxin and dermal filler injection techniques under the guidance of skilled instructors. However, this year, instead of only being offered during the pre-show schedule, these courses will also be offered during the main program.
With this change, attendees can now take advantage of the other high-interest topics being presented during TAS’s renowned pre-show program.
This year’s pre-show lineup offers full day gatherings on a range of subjects shaping the future of aesthetic medicine, including feminine rejuvenation; regenerative treatments and techniques and the Injectables 101 course for beginner injectors.
Based on overwhelming feedback from 2018 attendees, TAS has added a brand-new pre-show session: Advanced Laser Techniques and Applications Symposium, which will review current and emerging technology, combination treatments and best practices for evaluating and selecting aesthetic laser devices and platforms.
Of course, TAS wouldn’t be complete without its exclusive Certified Aesthetic Consultant (CAC) pre-show Certification course. This proprietary practice management program is offered as a highly-structured, interactive and intensive one-day session providing current and actionable information and techniques that help practices stay competitive in this fast-growing field. This course is open to any aesthetic professional that wants to gain the core competencies and best business practices that are critical for practice success. Participants can take an examination at the conclusion of the show to receive their certification.
“I attend the show to enhance my practice,” stated Kimberly Evans, M.D., a gynecologist who is specialty-trained in aesthetic services. “It is the one place where world-renowned physicians can grow and learn from one another.”
The exceptional value that attendees encounter in TAS’s educational and practice management sessions is also reflected in the expanded exhibit hall, which features all of the leading manufacturers spotlighting the hottest products, as well as daily live events and presentations by industry doyens.
And last but not least, is The Aesthetic Awards ceremony. Hosted by plastic surgeon Andrew Ordon, M.D., The Aesthetic Awards honors the influencers and innovators driving medical aesthetics forward.
